The regulatory turning point

The world is banning what DNF never contained.

One of the largest sources of PFAS contamination is firefighting foam. Used at fires and drills, PFAS-laden foams seep into the ground — and contaminate permanently, because "forever chemicals" barely degrade in nature. The damage runs along three paths:

Water

PFAS from firefighting foams reach groundwater and drinking water — a long-term health risk for entire populations.

Soil & food chain

Once released, PFAS accumulate in soil, harm plant life and travel up the food chain — all the way to the plate.
